Pre-Blog Catch-Up for Fri June 28, 2024

And the adventure begins anew!   Another day, another anchorage.   The pictures, above, are of our 5:15am departure from Bottleneck Inlet.   We are now enroute to Lowe Inlet, about 75 miles north of Bottleneck Inlet.

Here we are part way into today's journey in Grenville Channel.   Dead straight for about 25 miles.

On the way, we saw a lot of waterfalls.   Here's a few of them.   The picture with Karen in it is the waterfall at Butedale, BC.

It took about 3.5 hours to get to Lowe Inlet and drop the hook.  Remember, I don't like to anchor in deep places?  Well, this anchorage is about 90' deep.    We are anchored a ways off another waterfall.   Very nice setting.

Near where we anchored there is a bit of a shelf near the water and we were treated to a back bear foraging along the shoreline.   That black spot in the picture is a bear, I swear...
