Dinner out at a local Mediterranean joint called Arabisk at the East end of Prince Rupert. It was a 1.7mile hike to get to this place and the same hike back. We got our steps in! On our way back, we came across this lovely little waterfall (and, yes, it was raining on us).
A shout out to Kevin, the Harbormaster at PRR&YC. He and his staff exuded customer service. We've stayed at a few fancy lodges in the Broughton's and PRR&YC has them beat hands-down. Kevin is a veritable fountain of local knowledge which is willingly shared with us point out passages, routes, points of interest, areas to be cautious, etc. Not to mention the aforementioned Arabisk restaurant.
We had to move from the Prince Rupert Rowing & Yacht Club marina to the Cow Bay Marina. The distance between these marinas is a whopping 50'. Neither place could accommodate us for two consecutive nights.
When we moved, we were placed across the dock from a boat (really a ship) named "Stardust". Stardust had round-the-clock young healthy crew cleaning and tidying everything. That boat was spotless. We look like the tender to Stardust.
