Breakfast of Champions

A sumptuous repast fit for a king!   Good friends and former neighbors, Paul & Cheryl, graciously offered their spare bedroom for our stayover.   We arrived on a late flight from FLL to SEA and got to their place about midnight.

This picture is of breakfast the following morning.  We aren't sure what was in the egg dish, but it was absolutely fabulous.  Cheryl is a really excellent chef.

Blue Redd was originally set to launch on Wednesday, but due to high winds, that got pushed back o Thursday.   So, we jammed from Paul & Cheryl's to Anacortes.

We arrived just as they were moving her to the launch area.   No idea why they have the bow down so much during this move.   Weird, but no damage.

In she goes.

And now it is tweaks, fixes, and provisioning time.

We can't provision too much as Canada doesn't allow much in the way of fresh fruits, vegetables, or meats into the country.   To be fair (or equally unfair), the US is no better when we return.

Regardless as to which country we are coming from/going to, we have to throw out our Sunkist citrus fruits.   That way we can rebuy the same fruit, same brand, same packer, same farm, and probably from the same tree - but the taxation is different.

As my Dad always said...  Follow the money!
